Obado told the court that he had a personal relationship with Sharon and accepted that he was responsible for her pregnancy. However, he denied having any role in her murder.
The High Court in Nairobi is on Wednesday set to continue hearing the murder case involving former Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his two co-accused.
Obado is charged alongside Michael Oyamo and Casper Ojwang Obiero in connection with the killing of university student Sharon Otieno.

In April, Obado took the witness stand and gave sworn testimony in his own defence. He told the court that he had a personal relationship with Sharon and accepted that he was responsible for her pregnancy.
However, he denied having any role in her murder.
“The relationship was personal,” Obado told the court.
He further testified under oath, insisting that he had nothing to do with the killing.
Earlier, the court had found that the three had a case to answer, paving the way for the defence stage of the trial.
After Obado’s testimony, both Oyamo and Obiero also gave their versions of events. They each took the witness stand separately and denied the accusations.
Today’s hearing is expected to feature testimony from a defence witness brought by Oyamo. The witness will take the stand before the prosecution gets a chance to cross-examine the defence team.
